April 12 will bring a blast of colour and inventiveness to Narberth’s Oriel Q Gallery with ‘Shifting Perspectives’ – a shared show of work by ceramicist Anna Warchus and painter Adrian Bradbury.

In a lively response to the Pembrokeshire coast and countryside, Anna’s ceramic platters are patterned with the detritus left behind on our beaches: plastic toys jettisoned by holidaymakers, stranded starfish and so forth, while her sea-blue mugs twist and turn like seaweed bending in the waves.

Fearless in his use of colour, Adrian, again taking much of his inspiration from the Pembrokeshire coast, works in paint, multi-media, and sometimes collage, interpreting with big areas of colour the vastness of the ocean and the atmospherics where sea and sky merge on the horizon.

Visitors to the Gallery will recognise the wind and weather in the images by Pembrokeshire born and bred photographer Lori England on display in the window.
