A former Mayor of Pembroke Dock has appeared at Swansea Crown Court to face charges of possessing indecent images of children and ones that depicted bestiality.
Fifty-five-year-old Terry Judkins, of Bush Street, Pembroke Dock was charged with making two Category C indecent images of children and possessing a prohibited image of a child, both dated between September 27, 2018, and August 5, 2021, which he admitted.
The defendant was also charged with a second offence of making indecent images of children – this one relating to 52 Category A images between September 27, 2018 and August 5, 2021.
A further charge aimed at Mr Judkins accused him of possessing eight extreme pornographic images of a person performing an act of intercourse with a live or dead animal between January 1, 2010 and August 5, 2021. He denied this offence.
Prosecutor Helen Randall said that a trial would be sought on the defendant’s not guilty plea to possession of extreme pornographic images.
The hearing was adjourned and Judkins will next appear at court on June 20.
Mr Judkins stepped down as Mayor of Pembroke Dock back in November of 2021, citing ‘personal reasons’ and extra work commitments at the time to his colleagues at the Town Council.
