A Pembroke Dock man has been jailed after a suspended sentence for assault was activated following commission of a further offence.
Mr Brandon Pugh, of Waterloo Road, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on April 23.
Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire Magistrates’ Court had sentenced the 24-year-old with 16 weeks’ imprisonment, suspended for two years, on January 4, 2023 for three offences committed the previous year: assaulting an emergency worker (a police constable), assaulting a female by beating her, and behaving in a threatening, abusive or insulting way that was intended to cause harassment, alarm or distress to another person.
The suspended sentence was implemented, the three terms to be served concurrently. Pugh was sent to prison for a total of 24 weeks.
