A motorist is due to appear in court charged with causing the death of a motorcyclist at the Nash Finger Post junction last year, by careless/inconsiderate driving.
Forty-two-year-old Jason Harvey, of Law Street, Pembroke Dock, will appear at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on October 8 charged with causing the death of Ashley Rogers on May 13, 2023 by driving a White Ford Transit Connect, on the A477 Upper Nash road, without due care and attention.
Twenty-nine-year-old Mr Rogers, of Kilgetty, died at the scene on the A477 near the Fingerpost Junction, between Milton and Cleddau, following the collision which occurred at around 8 am.
The collision involved Mr Rogers’ red motorbike, which had been travelling along the A477 towards Pembroke, and a white van towing a trailer, which had been travelling along the A4075 from Pembroke, before joining the A477 towards Carmarthen.
Since the tragedy, safety improvements have been made to the junction, with traffic lights being installed this summer.
