Members of a Pembrokeshire Community Council are to ask the Local Authority to clampdown on tractors speeding and damaging verges on one of the roads to the village.
At the recent meeting of East Williamstion Council, members were advised that a local farmer had started to use Templebar Road as a ‘cut through’ with his silage trailers, which are very large and are churning up the verges. They are also being driven too fast, councillors commented.
The Clerk is to contact Pembrokeshire County Council to request that they put a restriction on this road for this period of increased vehicular activity.
