The Queens Hall Narberth is delighted to be announcing the much-enjoyed community initiative The Big Soup on Wednesday, November 13. Working in partnership will be Pembrokeshire Food Bank and Happy Planet Green Food Store.
Meet at 1pm for a delicious bowl of soup cooked by the amazing volunteers from Food Share at Pembrokeshire Foodbank, helping to reduce food waste. Happy Planet Green Food Store will be donating food for this Big Soup.
After lunch, a ‘Community Social’ will give people a chance to learn, have a go or just chat with the Knitting Natters. For those interested in more of a woodland sensory talk and demo, Lee Burton of The Milkwood Project, will be giving an update on funding he has received to develop his outreach work around Woodland Working and wellbeing.
Information will be shared at the event by guest partners PAVS (Pembrokeshire Association Voluntary Services). Happy Planet Green Food Store, Pembrokeshire Foodbank and the Queens Hall will all share news of their work and community social opportunities.
Queens Hall based Act Your Shoe Size will be sharing news about a different way to be social following the launch of the community performance and wellbeing initiative. OH Crumbs of Narberth will deliver ‘hot off the press’ news about the creative and social events they host at the local cafe.
Before people head home around 3pm, everyone is invited for a sweet treat, a hot or cold drink and a community catch up.
The Big Soup is a completely FREE, family-friendly event funded by UK Government - a great way to meet others and learn about local community organisations
No booking or entry fee is required - just pop in on the day.
