VE DAY 80th anniversary celebrations will fill Amroth Parish Hall, Summerhill on May 5, with food, music, wartime memorabilia, artefacts and memories, children’s fun activities and games.

Attendees are invited to bring along anything they think may be of interest to the event on Monday, May 5, from 2pm onwards.

VE Day: Victory in Europe Day, May 8, 1945 marked the end of nearly six years of conflict on the European front, bringing both joyous celebrations and solemn remembrance.

The dedication of the Roll of Honour will take place at 2.30pm.
