Tenby Town Council and Tenby branch of the Royal British Legion welcome you to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day on May 8.
At 9am, the Town Crier will read the VE Day Proclamation on the town walls turret, to be followed by the raising of the VE Day flag.
At 11am, there will be a wreath laying ceremony at the War Memorial.
At 6.30pm, St Mary’s Church will sound a peal of bells to coincide with a national peal.
At 9pm, the parade will form up outside St Mary’s Church to make its way to Castle Hill.
At 9.20pm, the community is invited to join in the singing of I Vow to Thee my Country, after which the Town Crier will read the VE Day Tribute.
At 9.30pm the Mayor will light the beacon to form part of a national chain to be followed by the singing of the National Anthems.
