AFTER the recent refurbishment works at Croft House, the developer, Tenby’s Coastal Developments, has worked with Tenby Civic Society to enable a blue plaque to be reinstalled at the property.

The plaque commemorates the author’s stay at No2 The Croft, where it is said she took inspiration from the pond in the rear garden for her Tale of Peter Rabbit.

The plaque was removed during the recent building works and has since also been refurbished.
