Sunday morning saw Tenby playing host to two visiting sides, both from the Cardiff area. A round robin tournament between Tenby, Llandaff and Crick ensured games for all.

The visiting teams proved too strong for the home players, with Tenby losing both their games. However, they did not go down without a strong fight. The second game was very physical, resulting in two of the visiting players suffering suspected broken bones. Well done to Martin for scoring his first try of the season and Chris for adding to the tally.

In complete contrast, last Wednesday evening saw the Heywood Lane ground play witness to possibly the Under 15s' best game of the season, against Haverfordwest, to whom they had lost on each of their previous meetings.

The atmosphere was electric, thanks to the strong local support, cheering on the players, even when they went two tries down in the first few minutes.

They kept their heads and fought back gallantly, in what again was a very physically tough game. Keeping their shape, delivering good ball from the forwards and tackling well, the home team were rewarded by drawing almost level on points by the end of the first half.

The lads played intelligently as a unit, working together throughout the match.

The second half was just as exciting, as the forwards fought doggedly for every ball in the rucks and mauls, as well as dominating in both the scrums and lineouts.

The back line moved the ball quickly and second and even third phase ball was retained. More tries came, to the delight of the crowd, ensuring that the Under 15s finished with a convincing win of 37 points to 17.

This final win, against a local team, ensured that the season ended on a high for the lads. They can be proud of their superb effort, which was also due to the magnificent support from the touchline. A big thank you must go to coaches Dave and Martin for their training, encouragement, support and dedication. Well done lads, look out next season.
