PICTURED is 17-year-old Alex Viol, who last week spent a week's work experience at the Observer.

Alex from Haverfordwest, is a Year 12 pupil at Tasker Milward School and is currently studying for his AS-levels in English, Geography and Politics.

During his week at our offices, Alex saw all aspects of the 'paper's production process and assisted on a number of journalistic outings, including a meeting of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority's development control committee where the controversial Bluestone Project was on the agenda.
