To the delight of locals and visitors, lovely bride Miss Amy Elizabeth Fawcitt fulfilled her wish to walk from her home in Crackwell Street, Tenby, on the arm of her father, David, to her wedding on Saturday at St. Mary's Church to Mr. Glen Anthony King from Coffs Harbour, Australia.
The bride was radiant in an off-the-shoulder ivory satin dress with a train, complemented by a flowing overcoat in organza. Her hair was elegantly styled, and a crystal barrette completed the picture. The bride and groom met whilst both working for Volkswagen, Australia.
Family, friends and former work colleagues made the journey from Australia to celebrate the marriage.
The groom, an IT consultant, is the youngest son of Greg King and Sandra Franklin, of New South Wales, Australia, while the bride, a PR consultant, is the only daughter of David and Carole Fawcitt, of Compass House, Crackwell Street, Tenby.
Bridesmaids were Zoe Ward-Wearing, Natalie McDermid and Kirstin Jones (friends) and Eloise Curthoys (cousin and god-daughter).
Best men were Craig King and Shaun King, while ushers were Ben Fawcitt, Tom Fawcitt and Sean Tavener.
The ceremony was conducted by Canon David Jenkins.
A reception was held at Trefloyne Park, Penally. The couple will honeymoon in The Maldives and make their future home in Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire.
