One of South Pembrokeshire’s most well-known pubs has recently re-opened following a huge makeover.
Amroth Arms is now looking forward to a busy summer season with its next generation at the helm, sister and brother Sally Evans and Andrew Lawrence.
Situated right on the seafront, the pub has been completely refurbished and features a new bar and dining area which boast a real seaside feel, plus a real log fire and stunning Pembrokeshire coastal photographs on the walls. It certainly all makes for a room with a view!
Open seven days a week from 11 am, the pub serves an ever-changing home-cooked lunch and evening menu, as well as one, two or three-course Sunday roasts, with all meals made using fresh local produce. A special children’s menu is also available. Meals are served lunchtime 12 noon - 2.30, 12 noon - 3 pm on Sunday, and Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings until the summer when food will be served every evening. Bookings are advisable, particularly for Saturday evenings and Sunday lunch.
A freehouse, the bar is well-stocked, with Stowford Press, Coors, Carling, Stella, Guinness, Strongbow, Worthington Creamflow and Doombar on tap, as well as real ales and guest ales from local breweries.
There’s also alfresco seating available opposite to enjoy the beautiful coastal views following the creation of a beer garden in the former car park, while further conversion of the pub will see holiday accommodation complete the makeover project.
Sally and Andrew would like to thank everyone who has helped with the refurbishment and wished them well.We will be looking for staff for the forthcoming season.
