Firefighters from Pembrokeshire came to rescue of a trapped sheep today, which had become entangled in barbed wire.

At 9.38am on Friday, February 21, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crew from Haverfordwest Fire Station was called to an incident near Bethany Road in Haverfordwest.

The crew responded to one sheep that had become entangled in barbed wire. To avoid the animal injuring itself or becoming distressed, crew members worked quickly to release the sheep using small tools.

The sheep rejoined its flock after being freed.

The crew left the scene at 10.10am.
