The owners of a popular farm shop in between Saundersfoot and Tenby have issued a warning to other businesses in the area to beware after thieves stole a batch of pumpkins from the premises.
The incident occurred at Four Seasons Farm shop & Florist on Saturday night (September 30) when owners Hugh and Jennette Scale were enjoying a surprise celebratory evening for a retiring member of staff in Amroth.
Four Seasons has shared CCTV footage on its Facebook page capturing the thieves loading a bootful of pumpkins into their vehicle at 8.50 pm, in the car park of the establishment which sits on the side of the roadway, before speeding away.
“Unfortunately as we were out celebrating, we came into work this morning to find that someone has taken it upon themselves to break into our side garden of the shop, damaging our gate and stealing a number of pumpkins,” Four Seasons posted on Sunday morning.
“We are in the middle of looking through the CCTV and will post faces/the car later on if nothing is returned. So other businesses please be aware.
“We do have their number plate and it has been passed onto the police, we’ll post it as soon as we know if anything’s being done,” they added.
