A Tenby lifeboat crew member has been given a special thanks by his colleagues, after 23 years of service for the RNLI.
Recently, a presentation was held at the boathouse for crew member Matt Broadhurst, after he stood down from the crew, having served from 1999 to 2022.
Matt was presented with his Certificate of Service by Operations Manager Andrew Lowe and duty Coxswain Dan Young, with his partner Clare and sons Rhys and Freddy watching on.
Andrew paid tribute to Matt’s 23 years’ service, during which time, 48 lives were rescued.
Over the years, he served various roles, including - shore crew, D-class crew, D-class helm, ALB crew and Sea-going Casualty Care. Thanks for your service Matt!
