Two Tenby businesses have stepped in to help Ysgol Hafan Y Môr’s football and rugby teams look the part when they walk on to the field this season.

The junior pupils received the new kits thanks to the generosity of two local businessmen.

Top Joe’s Pizza in Upper Frog Street sponsor the football team, while the rugby team is sponsored by Urban Style Homes.

The proprietors of both businesses, Daniel Warder, of Top Joe’s, and James Holder, of Urban Style Homes, have children that attend the school.

“We’re extremely grateful to Mr. Holder and Mr. Warder for their generous sponsorship. Our pupils will really look the part on the pitch now!” said the school’s head teacher Mrs. Vicky Griffiths.

“The children can’t wait to play matches in their new kit.

“We have a thriving sports section at the school with the children learning from one of the county’s foremost sportsmen Jonathan Thomas, and with the generosity of businesses like Top Joe’s and Urban Style Homes this section will go from strength to strength.”
