Tenby Sharks Boxing Club is gearing up for its first show in some time.

Saturday, February 11 will see amateur boxing return to Tenby Leisure Centre as Tenby Sharks ABC look to take the roof off when they showcase all the hard work that's gone on since it opened its doors in 2017.

It will be only the second show of boxing since the Sharks’ inception and this will be first show held in Tenby for several years.

The Sharks (now based at their gym at Carew Airfield) recently saw one if its members Mark White come home from the Welsh Novice Championships held at Markham Leisure Centre with a win, and are looking to build on this success in the coming months.

The show at the Leisure Centre on Marsh Road, will see bouts pitting Tenby Sharks against boxers from the rest of Wales.

Doors will open at 4 pm, with Wales’ trip to Scotland for the Six Nations clash at 4.45 pm, showing on the big screen. The evening is scheduled to finish at 10 pm.

Food at the venue will be provided from Sloppy Joe's Streetfood and there will be a fully licensed bar throughout the evening.

Standard tables (seating 8 people) and ringside VIP tables (seating 10 people) are available.

“There is a great night of international rugby with Wales playing Scotland on the big screen followed by Tenby Sharks boxers vs the rest of Wales,” said Tenby Sharks’ head coach Mark Davies.

“Come and support the local talent that Wales has to offer in the boxing scene! We look forward to seeing you there!

“We’ve also had a great response from local businesses after reaching out for bout sponsors for the show.”
