TENBY UNITED 15 pts.
LAMPETER 15
The points were shared in this Division Three West tie at Heywood Lane on Saturday, as the Seasiders welcomed Lampeter, who sit just a place above them in the league table.
Too many penalties conceded cost Tenby at the end, with the away side's fly-half Huw Thomas accounting for all of their points from five penalty kicks.
Tenby started the match well with two good tries in the first half from fullback Aled Bowen and second row Lawrence Britz, with outside-half Rhys Thomas adding one conversion to give them a 12-6 lead at the break.
All the Seasiders could manage during the second half, though, was a penalty from Bowen, as Lampeter fought back with three more penalties from Thomas, after the home side had Jeff Martin, Richard Rossiter and Luke Dedman all yellow-carded for technical offences which proved costly in the end and left both sides with a share of the spoils at 15-15.
