Congratulations to Archie Dilks of Tenby Penguins who competed in the Ironman World Championship in Nice (France) this month, finishing in a brilliant time of 12hrs 36mins, at the event held on September 10.
Archie qualified for the world champs last year at Ironman Wales, where he was the youngest athlete taking part only turning 18 two weeks prior.

The son of Jim and Becky Dilks, and grandson of Roy and Julie Young of Tenby, Archie - a local mackerel boat skipper - has come a long way since his first ever triathlon in 2018 at Saundersfoot.
Coached by local athlete Oli Simon, Archie has improved drastically year on year and is set to have a brilliant career in triathlon.
