The Castle Inn, Manorbier, Golf Society held their monthly golf day at Tenby Golf Club on Friday, December 7.

Eight players turned out on the day, which started well, with the weather sunny and calm, but by the third hole, the wind had got up and it went very cold with heavy showers.

Nevertheless, all eight players braved the elements to the end and just managed to get home before dark.

Results: 1. Lyndon James 33 pts (better back nine); 2. Loz Phillips 33; 3. Rob Izzard 30 (on countback); 4. Paul Maytum 30; 5. Martin Evans 25; 6. John Drury 24; 7. Kelvin 16; 8. John Hughes 15.

Nearest to pin, sixth hole - John Drury; longest drive, 14th hole - John Hughes.
