Library Visit

The school children have recently visited Haverfordwest library. The Foundation Phase children were read stories, got to see how the library system worked and also got to look at books of their choice. The older children visited other areas within the library to broaden their knowledge. The children all became members of Pembrokeshire libraries and received their membership cards on the day of the visit. Thank you to the library staff who spoke to the children and showed them around.

Welsh Wildlife Centre, Cilgerran

Children from Years 4, 5 and 6 were lucky enough to visit the wildlife centre to learn more about habitats. The children searched for animals in three different habitats - a pond, woodland and a meadow. One group found two rare species which hadn't been found in the area before. It was a very exciting experience. Thank you to the Darwin Science Centre for showing the children around and once again broadening their learning experiences.
