Work is due to begin tomorrow (Monday, January 30) on part of Tenby harbour’s pier wall.
Scaffolding will be erected on the pier Monday/Tuesday, with its location from the tap seaward side of the stone steps to the gate used to close the end of the pier (about a 10 meter section).
“The scaffolding is to provide a platform for works to begin on this section of wall,” said Tenby’s harbourmaster Chris Salisbury.
“Access will remain to the end of the pier but may become a little restricted at times when the works commence. All works are hoped to be finished by Easter.
“There will most likely be a period of time when the parking bays northern side of the office will be closed in order for the removed stone to be placed before rebuilding of the wall,” he added.
