Sir, Last year I wrote concerning the relegation of the French Market to the outside of the town walls. Nothing has changed, except that Tenby seems to have even fewer visitors this year. Every time I pass through Tudor Square during the pedestrianisation it seems vacant and unattractive.

Swansea manages to welcome the French Market into the centre and people wander from the shops to the market and back to the shops.

I took some photographs in the centre of Bath during the summer where the centre is enlivened by stall holders and street entertainers. Just think what the middle of Tenby would look like...
