Although the weather this Easter holidays has been suited to ducks, St Florence has postponed it’s charity ‘duck race’ until after the weekend.
The event will now take place on Easter Monday, April 21 (rather than Good Friday), from 1pm with the race taking place at the Ford in the village at 2pm.
“Due to the poor weather forecasted we’ve decided to postpone our duck race to Easter Monday, where it looks warmer,” said a spokesperson for organisers The Friends of St Florence School.
“We hope you will be able to join us then. Have a lovely Easter weekend.”
The day will feature an Easter trail, BBQ, raffle, and stalls.
There will also be competitions for Easter bonnets and best decorated boiled eggs!
