Travel writers from a national newspaper have listed Saundersfoot as one of the UK’s most ‘underrated’ seaside destinations.
In the publication’s travel section, The Sun’s ’experts’ have listed a wealth of reasons why the Pembrokeshire seaside village - that sits next door to its ‘more famous neighbour’ Tenby - was dubbed as one of the ‘best places to live’ by The Sunday Times recently.
‘With a stunning sheltered, sandy beach nestled by a pretty town, it is a perfect retreat for holidaymakers and day-trippers,’ stated the newspaper.
‘The main attractions of the small coastal town include Saundersfoot Beach, cosy pubs, pretty cafes and restaurants with quaint and colourful fronts.
‘The beach is ideal for swimming, but it's also a good spot for canoeing, sailing, windsurfing and fishing.’
