Given up on your New Year resolutions? Again? Why not try something that will improve your wellbeing, bring you new friends and share your time with people in your community?

Community Transport in Pembrokeshire has had some keen new volunteers in recent months, and they are enjoying their volunteering, but there is still a need for more drivers -of their own cars (expenses reimbursed) and of the wheelchair accessible cars, which are based in Haverfordwest.

Volunteers usually give a day or half day a week, although some enjoy their driving so much, they decide to more.

“We’d be really pleased if you could do just a little bit, and we’re sure you’ll enjoy it, too,” said Emma from PACTO. “Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, feel good about yourself and do something really worthwhile with your spare time, so why not give us a call and see what we can do together to get you and your passengers out and about for shopping, appointments and other vital journeys.”
