Mary Tooth, a pupil from Ysgol Dyffryn Taf, won the Year 7 writing competition for Welsh learners in this year’s National Urdd Eisteddfod.

The competition was to write a piece about hobbies. She wrote a letter about her hobbies and entered it in the school’s eisteddfod writing competition in February. It was then sent to the Urdd’s competition under the same title.

On Friday, Mary was awarded with the Linda Moran Memorial Prize which she was presented with on stage in the eisteddfod’s pavilion. Da iawn Mary!
