Members of East Williamstion Community Council have been given a progress update on play parks for the area.

At this month’s meeting, Cllr D McIntosh advised members that an ‘expression of interest’ form has been submitted to Pembrokeshire County Council for a small grant up to £15,000 for work on Phase 1 of the refurbishment of Pentlepoir’s play area, for a new safety fence and two or three items of play equipment to be added.

Thanks were offered to Councillors Pete Strydom and Colin for the work they carried out on minor repairs to the play equipment at Pentlepoir and Broadmoor.

The annual inspection reports were circulated and will be reviewed for the next meeting, which will be held on Thursday, September 12.
