Last month, a new exhibition - ‘Unexpected’ by Martin White, was officially opened at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery.

Curator Mark Lewis said: “Martin has been a long standing supporter of the museum through his work with the Friends of the Museum, and this exhibition is in recognition both of his support and for his obvious and varied talents as an artist.”

The exhibition features 50 works, ranging from photography, acrylic, mixed media relief work, slate inlaid marble, bodypaint and laser prints, showing the huge variation in Martin’s paintings.

There is also a fascinating portfolio of more of Martin’s work including book and record covers for the visitor to browse through.

Martin’s works are for sale and there is also the opportunity to buy very affordable prints of the works that feature in the exhibition.

The exhibition runs until April 9 and the Museum and Art Gallery is currently open Wednesday to Saturday, between 10 am and 4 pm.

Martin, who resides in Tenby, is pictured with his son Matt (who also gave a super speech about his father’s work), and curator Mark.
