Over the last few weeks there have been many races that TROT runners have participated in.

At Felinfach there was a six-mile race. Paul Hayes was 10th, Martin Davies 16th, Ann Thomas 19th, Dave Griffiths 27th and Lindy Eynon 32nd. Paul, Ann and Dave were all first and Lindy second in their age categories.

Four TROTs, Dave Griffiths, Lon Morgan, Oona Crawford and Pauline Thomas all successfully competed in the Silver Valley 10km race in Hermon.

In Crymych, the annual Ras Frenni eight-mile race was held. Ian Williams won the race, Ann Thomas was 11th, Peter Walters 14th, Dave Griffiths 17th, Tom Furness 31st, Mike Hodges 32nd and Helen Williams 33rd. Ann was the female winner and Dave was first over 40 to finish.

Seven TROTs ran the Ammanford 10km race. Ann Thomas came 13th, Mark Terry 18th, Mary Bowen Rees 25th, Lindy Eynon 34th, Ann Rowell 62nd, Pauline Thomas 81st and Oona Crawford 82nd. Mary and Pauline were first and Ann and Lindy second in their age categories. TROTs ladies won the team award.

Eight TROTs ran the second race of the Swansea Bay 5km race series. Kevin Griffiths was 14th, Mel Watson 54th, Mark Terry 57th, Jason Dickinson 96th, Caroline Jones 99th, Cyril Waters 115th, Oona Crawford 119th and Pauline Thomas 330th.
