Six friends have raised over £4,000 for charity by successfully completing a gruelling Three Peaks Challenge.
Led by Gemma Clewer, Rebecca Poulton, Vyv Davies, Mel Davies, Tom Howells and Stuart Day raised £4,200 for Cancer Research in memory of Gemma's dad, Colin, as they climbed three peaks in three different countries.
Said Gemma: "The challenge was to complete the three peaks, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, in 24 hours.
"We completed the climbing element of the challenge well under the 13 hours that is recommended, but the driving in between took longer due to traffic. However, we still finished in the 24 hours allocated, but it was a sprint finish to the end of Snowdon.
"The weather conditions were poor in Scotland and England, but the sun came out for the final climb up Snowdon."
Gemma added: "We have just received the last of our sponsor money in and the final total we raised for Cancer Research in memory of my dad was £4,200, so it was well worth the effort.
"We would like to thank all of our family and friends for their support and a huge thank you to everyone who sponsored us."
