Last Monday at the Tenby Project, people had the chance to try out new activities, such as badminton and table tennis, as well as some more gentle seated exercises.
In the morning, a coffee morning was held as usual, with dominoes out on the tables in case someone fancied a game or two, which seemed to go down well. There was also the chance to do some crafting activities, especially with some craft stamps ready for cardmaking.
After getting a quick lunch for themselves, everyone helped to put together and have a go at some new activities. An indoor bounce-up badminton net meant several people were able to have a game, although a big cheer went up when the shuttlecock was hit 3 times in a row, so plenty more practice is needed! A longer rally was managed for table tennis!
This Monday, the group have decided to concentrate on starting to make some cards and little presents to send down to a group in Cornwall, a Postbag of Kindness. They are doing one to send back. Everyone is welcome to come and join us at any time during the day. People are especially welcome for the coffee morning between 11 and 12, and also in the afternoon, especially if they would like to help with the Postbag of Kindness.
