St Mary’s Handbell Ringers of Tenby were delighted to welcome a fellow ringer from the USA last week.

Meryl Franck and her husband, George, travelled from Cardiff where they’re staying to join with the group. Meryl is the Handbell Ringer, she can ring with a group or solo.

She joined in with Tenby's repertoire and then, to everyone's delight, gave a wonderful solo demonstration, ably accompanied by Dr John Harrison.

Meryl has Welsh roots, her mother hailed from Wales, so they are here to explore her Welsh heritage. It was a wonderful evening and all thoroughly enjoyed.
