Tenby’s Boxing Day Swim 2024 proved to be a double record-breaker!

Not only did the annual charity swim held on North Beach welcome the highest number of brave bathers - at least 1,150 - but it also smashed it on its beach collection.

This year, the event had a ‘superhero’ fancy dress theme, in tribute to the RNLI on the organisation’s 200th anniversary.

“Thanks go to our amazing volunteers who brandished buckets and card readers, we're delighted to reveal that a total of £2,599.44 was donated on Boxing Day morning alone!” said a spokesperson for the event.

“When we add that to our Eventbrite total and the generous support of our sponsors, we hope to be looking at a bumper donation for Tenby RNLI.”
