Tenby Surf Lifesaving Club volunteer members recently had the opportunity to do some rescue training on South Beach with Bandit and Tahoe - two Newfoundland dogs.
Four-year-old Bandit and Tahoe who is only 6 months, train with a club called ‘Newfs In Action’.

“They are trained in water rescue to help promote water safety. Whilst on holiday they joined in with the Tenby Surf lifesavers to undertake some sea training - and show how they can rescue people,” said owner Cheryl Ann Payne.
“They used a life ring, a torpedo buoy brought back the surf board, and even undertook a multi tow of the whole team!”
