Congratulations goes to Rob Garland, who recently passed out as a Deputy Coxswain following an intensive period of training and assessments, both locally at Tenby and Angle and also at the RNLI College in Poole.

Rob continues to add to a life-boating tradition in his family. His great-grandfather, Thomas Benjamin Richards was a former station coxswain, as was his great-uncle, Josh Richards.

His other great-uncles Stanley and Reggie were both crew members, as was his grandfather Peter Richards. In all, his family have contributed some 200 years service to the RNLI so far.

Rob is pictured being congratulated by Marc Gibbons, RNLI trainer and assessor; and Tenby Coxswain, Lisa Viggers.
