AUTHOR John Woodcock launched his new book, Tenby History, at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery on Wednesday, April 8.
His first book on the town, Tenby Shops 1870-1970, was published in 2012 and John began work on his second work following publication of this work.
John first visited Tenby with his family in the late 1970s and they have enjoyed many holidays in the town since.
John was introduced by Sue Baldwin, honorary librarian, who said that the museum was privileged to have John's new book launched at the museum.
John thanked everyone at the museum for their help and support and also thanked Angele Jones at the Tudor Merchant's House for her enthusiasm and assistance.
He said: "It is appropriate that the book is being launched here at the museum as the museum has been forward looking over the years in producing books on the history of the area and has in the past also written and published books. My book is an addition to the works previously done and is hopefully a step in the right direction towards the creation of a fundamental history of the town."
The book (including some signed copies) is now available for purchase in the museum shop.
