Tenby Gateway Club thoroughly enjoyed their New Year Party last Thursday held at the Giltar Hotel.

Forty-five members plus their carers and Gateway Club volunteers attended the annual party hosted by Tenby Lions Club which always starts their new year programme of events on a high.

Once again grateful thanks go to the members of Tenby Lions for their generous hospitality in hosting the entire evening, including an excellent buffet and bar, the DJ and disco beats that kept everyone on the dance floor for the whole evening and, to end this brilliant event, all members received party gift bags.

Also, before the celebrations came to an end and on behalf of all in attendance, Tenby Lions members Phil and John handed out cards and best wishes to four members, Rita Leitus, Ted Robinson, Lana Watkins and Max Arnal for their upcoming birthdays.

Tenby Gateway Club is a social club for adults over the age of 18 with special needs and/or learning difficulties. They run a wide range of events and generally meet every second and fourth Thursday of the month.

The club is a charity and all monies to cover the costs of keeping it active have to be found by way of club subs, personal donations and fund-raising. They run entirely by the help of dedicated volunteers. New volunteers and committee members are always welcome.
