HUNDLETON U11s 0
TENBY U11s 6
An early kick-off at Hundleton for the first game of the year saw the Andrew Price Tenby Under 11s side keep up their 100 per cent unbeaten form with a hat-trick by the promising Toby Poole.
Tenby, sponsored by County Financial Consultants, played their best passing game of the season and had plenty of possession, but the defence of Hundleton was hard to break down with their physical presence.
The visitors had some excellent moves and played positively trying to play good football through the wings, with Danny Wainwright and Jake Simmonds making some good runs. Hundleton kept pushing forward, but the defence of Tom Murphy and the reliable Jack Broadhurst, who had an outstanding game at the back, stood firm and made little space for the home side.
Eventually, a good move from the midfield of Caie Elms put Poole through for his first goal, followed by another just before half-time, giving Tenby a two-nil advantage.
In the second half, Tenby used the ball well and after intense pressure, it fell to Wainwright who tucked it away effectively; then a lovely move saw Elms finish in style.
Tenby kept playing one-touch football and Poole finished off an excellent hat-trick from the striker.
The improved Elliott Moorhouse struck a fabulous shot into the top corner of the goal to finish the game with a quality goal.
Defender Tom James and an excellent goalkeeping performance from James Harries gave the home side little opportunity to score, but the hosts never gave up and battled until the end.
Thanks go to Matt Broadhurst and Carl Wainwright for managing and coaching the team,
Tenby team: James Harries, Jack Broadhurst, Elliot Moorhouse, Tom Murphy, Tom James, Jake Simmonds, Caie Elms, Danny Wainwright, Toby Poole.
Narberth U13s 0
Tenby U13s 3
Tenby U13s, sponsored by Park Road Fish and Chips, returned from their two-month hibernation to progress through to the next round of the West Wales Cup, but not without a battle!
Tenby started brightly enough on a frosty pitch, taking an early lead when a lovely diagonal ball from Scott Ferney found Lloyd Hughes in space on the edge of the area, and his low shot evaded the diving 'keeper.
Battling against a muddy goalmouth and a packed home defence, Tenby were often reduced to shooting from distance. A rasping 20-yarder from Spencer Williams tested the Narberth 'keeper, who then saw another Lloyd Hughes effort bobble off the surface and slip agonisingly through his fingers to gift the visitors a two-nil lead.
The tricky playing surface created problems at the other end, as the Tenby defence saw one or two passes fall short, enabling the home side to pounce. But, Will Davies in the Tenby goal came off his line quickly to thwart the Narberth strikers, who otherwise could easily have nicked a goal back.
To be fair, Tenby created some nice passing movements and had chances to bury the game in the first half. Lloyd Hughes saw a dipping shot pushed onto the crossbar, and Declan Escott put the ball in the net, only to see play pulled back for a push on a Narberth defender.
The second half was a tense affair, with Tenby pushing forward to try and seal victory and Narberth gaining in confidence. As the half progressed, Tenby began to regain their shape. Sweeper, Owen Coombs, made two crucial tackles, while Ben Roberts and Adam John battled well in the middle to win possession. And Adam Muskett and Luke Hartland were able to push on and support the attacks down the flank, enabling Tenby to exert more pressure in the final third.
Spencer Williams and Luke Hartland shot just wide, while Lloyd Hughes and Scott Ferney both hit the side netting. Finally, from a late corner on the right, Declan Escott made it 3-0 with a tap-in.
Tenby should have had a fourth in the closing moments. Charlie Gammer was put clean through on goal. He neatly rounded the 'keeper, but was nudged off balance, and a free-kick was awarded on the edge of the area.
Although Narberth put in a great performance, Tenby did just about enough to deserve their victory. However, the team will need to quickly regain its cutting edge if it is to make progress in the later stages of the cup.
TENBY U14s 1
CLARBESTON ROAD U14s 4
Tenby conceded an early goal for the second time in successive matches and found it hard to make any impression on a lively Clarbeston Road side. The obvious lack of matches due to the weather seemed to give Tenby less of an edge, and only Jacob Dent at right-back came out of the game with any real credit.
Tenby created some early chances themselves, but failed to capitalise with the goal at their mercy, and their shyness in front of goal was brought to a head when they dragged a penalty past the post.
Tenby continued to make some chances in a first half, but the half-time scoreline was 1-0 to the visitors.
The second half saw Tenby create several chances, but they failed to track back when Clarbeston Road attacked, with Tommy John and Laurie Howarth looking upstoppable, and the speed of David Omeregie looked threatening.
Niall Kinsella and Shaun Whitfield worked hard to get the ball forward to Jerome Mansbridge, but he was always second best to the advancing goalkeeper and Tenby got in further trouble when Lewis Roberts was bundled off the ball for a Clarbie second.
Tenby rallied a bit and a goalmouth scramble when the Clarbie goalkeeper dropped the ball resulted in George Wilkins claiming the last touch as the ball squirmed over the line to pull one back.
The visitors then went further in front, and confidence seemed to drain away from Tenby.
A botched-up corner kick on the left for the home side resulted in a breakaway for the visitors where no Tenby player touched the ball before Lewis Roberts picked it out of the net, summing up a miserable morning and a 4-1 defeat.
Tenby squad: Lewis Roberts, Jacob Dent, Niall Kinsella, Shaun Whitfield, Luke Conbeer, Elliott Rivers, Richard Tebbutt, George Wilkins, James Bridges, Jerome Mansbridge, Aaron James, Ellis Morgan, Nathan Wilson.

CLARBESTON ROAD U15s 0
In spite of a heavy early frost, the T. P. Hughes sponsored team travelled to Clarbeston Road for their first match since before Christmas.
Tenby thundered into action, finding acres of space in the middle of the field, and Goldie opened the scoring early on with a good solo run.
A strong run up the middle from Joe saw him rewarded with a goal and Callum also got his name on the score-sheet before half-time.
After the break, Tenby continued to dominate the game, looking stronger, faster and fitter, with several opportunities going begging before Callum got his second and Joe tied up his hat-trick.
Toby then completed the scoring with two impressive goals.
It was a scrappy game, which provided a good run out, with the whole squad seeing some action.
Let's hope the weather is kind and the team has the chance to build momentum once more and return to the brilliant form they were showing before the enforced break.
Thanks to coaches James and John (who also ran the line), kit sponsors T. P. Hughes and Jameston Village Stores and also the touchline support.
Tenby squad: George McBeth, Cheyne Lloyd, Tom Grover, Sam Butler, Joe Worley, Hugo Wellum, Toby Rossiter, David Webb, Callum Greer, Elliot Goldsmith, James Adie, George Lander, Matt Davies, Rob Davies.
MILFORD UNITED U16s 1
TENBY U16s 4
After a prolonged break from competitive football due to the extreme weather conditions, Tenby were faced with their stiffest task of the season having to travel away to Milford United, for their next fixture in the West Wales Cup to take on a powerful United side who lie second in the Pembrokeshire League.
Milford can boast players of the quality to have already scored hat-tricks at senior level in the second tier of Pembrokeshire football.
Tenby, who have assembled a powerful and gifted squad of their own under the tutelage of Gavin Scotcher and Neil Proctor, started the game with real purpose and belief, which was rewarded in the opening 10 minutes when the athletic and versatile Robin Goddard latched on to a through ball from the influential midfielder Iwan Izzard. Goddard finished well to give Tenby a deserved lead.
Milford came close to an equaliser from a powerful free-kick from Ryan Wilson, but the safe hands of Dan Storer plucked the goal-bound ball from the air with real authority.
Tenby's powerful midfield partnership of Kieran Lewis and Jake Proctor began to dominate proceedings, creating many good attacking situations, one of which resulted in a free-kick following a foul on Greg Caine, who was proving a real handful at the cutting edge.
Anyone who has seen Tenby over the past few seasons would be aware of the danger they possess from set-pieces and this was demonstrated again when Kieren Lewis found the net from 20 yards.
With Tenby having the better of things, the pacey, mobile strike force of Greg Caine and Craig Lucas combined well following a precise pass from left-back Luke Phillips, which resulted in Greg Caine finishing with power and precision to give a 3-0 scoreline with only 30 minutes gone.
Milford United, to their credit, wouldn't lie down and created an attacking move of their own, culminating in Brennan Findlay making space for himself in the corner of the 18-yard box and firing home to bring the tie back to life at 3-1 ,when the half-time whistle was blown.
At half-time, Tenby made one tactical change in readiness to attack down the slope, bringing on left-footer Ryan Fielder for Luke Philips.
The second half began with the atmosphere and adrenalin being cranked up a couple of notches, with Milford showing their intentions early with some crunching tackles which could only be described as borderline, with talented fullback Nathan Davies and the newly-introduced Ryan Fielder the main recipients.
However, Tenby stepped up to the challenge and centre backs Ross Lascelles and Will Cowan galvanised the back four with towering performances. Again the mobility and quality across the midfield resulted in another free-kick on the corner of the Milford 18-yard box, which was executed with a training ground move of real precision, with the end result of Will Cowan crashing the ball home from Iwan Izzard and Kieran Lewis's build-up play.
At 4-1, the game was now over, but there was still time for chances at both ends, with Milford's Ryan Wilson making a penetrating run, ending with a powerful shot which flew just wide, and Tenby substitutes Ben Steele and Alex Bailey both going close with individual efforts.
