Tenby U13s 8 Narberth U13s 0

Tenby did well in this League Cup encounter, following up their impressive form at Swansea the week before. Early play was even, but Tenby showed the tenacity needed to dominate the midfield and Richard Tebbutt and George Wilkins won the ball well and then passed it forward with just the right pace on it.

Elliott Rivers and Ellis Morgan showed great pace on the right for Tenby and James Bridges and Jerome Mansbridge stretched the Narberth defence with similar runs down the left.

Ellis Morgan beat a square defence to put Tenby 1-0 ahead and then finished a brilliant move to get a second before half-time. Tenby looked sound in defence, with Nathan Wilson and Jacob Dent winning the ball and coming forward, either side of the dependable Shaun Whitfield and Marcus Read.

Just after the interval, Jerome Mansbridge scored with a brilliant left foot shot and James Bridges emphasised Tenby's superior possession by scoring from 25 yards.

Tenby's width in attack gave the visitors no respite, with the running of Elliott Rivers and Jerome Mansbridge providing scoring opportunities through the middle of the pitch, gratefully accepted by Ellis Morgan, to bring his contribution to four goals.

Rob Davies and Ryan Price came on to play their part well, and Brandon Taylor-Monaghan won the ball to put Tenby 7-0 ahead. Narberth's misery was not over until Luke Conbeer, who had been safe in goal for the Seasiders, came up to convert a penalty to make the final score 8-0 for Tenby.

Tenby squad: Luke Conbeer, Jacob Dent, Marcus Read, Shaun Whitfield, Nathan Wilson, Elliott Rivers, Richard Tebbutt, George Wilkins, James Bridges, Jerome Mansbridge, Ellis Morgan, Rob Davies, Ryan Price, Brandon Monaghan-Taylor.
