Organisers of the Tenby and Saundersfoot district poppy appeal have given thanks to all those that have helped raise a magnificent £424,872.66 so far across 2024/25 across South West Wales.

“To all our members, volunteers and especially the generous members of the public that have have contributed to this amazing achievement.

“This will help support military veterans and their families in so many ways.”

As a collective team the tally is 9% and £40,000 more than last year.

“We still have until September 25 to add to this figure with VE Day and VJ Day approaching,” stated organisers.

“Absolutely superb result. You should all be very proud of your massive dedication to the Armed Forces Community.”
