Narberth RNLI branch raised over £1,000 for the charity on Friday from their evening cruise from Tenby harbour. Branch members and friends boarded The Pride of Tenby for a two-hour cruise which took in the sights of Giltar, Caldey Island and St. Margaret's. Everyone enjoyed an on-board buffet, with provisions donated by Narberth businesses Wisebuys, Liz's Coffee Shop, CK's Supermarket, Andrew Rees Butchers, Spar and J. Williams, Costcutter, as well as Sainsbury's, Tenby. "It was a tremendous evening, and we were so lucky with the weather," said Julie Mathias, who organised the cruise with Emma Richards. "We are very grateful to everyone who donated food, and also to Angus, owner of The Pride of Tenby, for making the boat available." During the cruise, Narberth RNLI branch treasurer, David Rowe, presented the cheque to Tenby RNLI's visits officer, David Rees.
