Members of the South Pembrokeshire Hunt Pony Club recently took part in a bike ride to exercise the fox hounds.

The branch were kindly invited to take part by Mr. Hugh Harrison Allen and Mrs. Dianne Jones, joint masters of the South Pembrokeshire Hunt.

The ride started and finished at the hunt kennels in Cresselly and all the children had a wonderful time, despite a few unplanned falls!

After the ride, the children enjoyed a barbecue and tour of the kennels.

The pony club was established in South Pembrokeshire by Mr. Harrison Allen's late mother 50 years ago, and the close relationship between the two organisations continues as many of the children in pony club also hunt during the winter months.

The branch would like to say a big thank you to the joint masters for their kind hospitality, huntsman Mr. Simon Jones, and Denzil and Yvonne for cooking the barbecue.

Members, parents and friends are reminded that there are still numbers for sale for the 100 Club. It costs £10 a number and gives you the chance to win more than your money back, whilst helping to raise funds for the branch. Anyone interested in buying numbers should contact Sarah Hughes, Lorna Williams or any member of the committee.

The first two 100 Club draws have already taken place, with the lucky winners being Mr. Roger Moore - £40, Mrs. Jacqui Morgan - £20, Mr. Bob Parcell - £15, and in the first draw, Mrs. Louise Meyrick - £40, Miss Ele Scourfield - £25 and Mrs. Lorna Williams - £15.

To have a chance of being in the winnings, and support the club, make sure you buy your numbers before the next draw!
