Town councillors in Whitland are seeking solutions to a street’s drain issues.

At the recent meeting of the Town Council, members were given an update relating to a site visit by Carmarthenshire County Council Officers and the assessment of the problematic drains along St Johns Street.

With a problem with water pooling in certain areas, it was agreed that several additional drains will be installed along the drain route, with these works to be carried out in the next financial year.
