Skateboarding enthusiasts ramped it up in Pembroke Dock over the weekend as the town held it’s annual ‘skateboarding competition’ event.
Held at the Pembroke Dock skatepark on Sunday, the event forms part of the town’s Summer Festival programme.
“Congratulations to all the winners, and everyone who competed. Judging was very hard this year with the standard being so high!” said one of the organisers Owen Howells.
“Thanks go to Sam Ryder and Craig Brown for judging, Graham Da Gama Howells, Dilys Burrell, Max Burrell, and Chris Goodman for their parts in making the event a success.
“Thank you also to Undergroundsurf Tenby for the huge box of prizes, and also Dalatando Almeida and Holland Skate Co. for bringing even more!
“Fair to say lots of people went home with some great gear.
“Finally a big thanks to Sarah Scourfield and Pembroke Dock Town Council for making this event possible.
“Its a great facility to have in Pembroke Dock and is helping train some serious skateboarding talent in the area,” he added.
