There's still time to claim a place on the 'walk on the wild side' - around Pembrokeshire's magical coastline.

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park's 22nd annual coast path walk covers all 186 miles of the National Trail.

The 14-day sequence is from Saturday, May 29, immediately prior to Spring Bank Holiday, to Friday, June 11, inclusive.

Each stage of between 12 and 14 miles is led by experienced leaders and just 24 people have the chance to 'sign in' for the entire event.

Cost is just £160 a head - working out at less than £12 a day.

Said National Park field education officer, David Matthews: "There are a few places left and a deposit of £60 per person is required. Walkers will need to find their own overnight accommodation and it is essential to have their own transport in order to reach the different meeting points each day. Outward coach transport is provided by the Park Authority at the start of each day.

"Springtime is a very special time in Pembrokeshire. The wild flowers are superb, the coastal birds are here in great numbers and the scenery is dramatic and ever changing."
