Thieves who have stolen plants from a seaside village have been slammed by volunteers trying to make Saundersfoot welcoming during the ‘In Bloom’ season

Residents of Whitlow plant by the 'Welcome to Saundersfoot' sign to give anyone who passes by a colourful, cheerful welcome to the village - so imagine their frustration when they saw plants had been stolen from the planter this month.

“This happened a few times last year and plants were replaced each time so that such selfish actions didn't spoil things for everyone - so we are beyond annoyed to find out it's happening again! Even with the best volunteers, Saundersfoot can't ‘bloom’ if someone keeps pinching our plants!” said a spokesperson for the In Bloom organisation.

Saundersfoot in Bloom is a volunteer group that relies on volunteers to fundraise, fetch, carry, clean, plant and more, to have a positive impact on thevillage so that people enjoy living, visiting and holidaying here in litter-free spaces that have colourful planted areas.
