Motorists entering Saundersfoot harbour car park have been warned to be on the watch out if they’re thinking of pulling up to enjoy the seaside view for a short while, as a newly introduced enforcement system in operation, could see them caught out with a fine.
Customers and visitors are advised that ANPR cameras are now in operation at the harbourside car park, operating 24 hours a day.
“I have been contacted regarding the car parking at the harbour, as there is a new system in operation and if you’re using the car park, please make sure you purchase a ticket!” said county councillor for the village Cllr Chris Williams.
“An ANPR system is active in the car park. If you stay longer than expected, please ensure that you top up your car parking ticket at the ticket machines before leaving the car park.”
All parking enforcement within the car park which has undergone a redevelopment over the past 12 months is undertaken and managed by Britannia Parking.
Anyone issued with a fine has the option to raise a dispute or any mitigating circumstances with the firm directly.
Contact details for Britannia Parking are included on each of the enforcement signs around the car park.
