Today (Friday), a talk will be given at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery entitled Ports and Resorts by Professor Peter Borsay, professor of history at Aberystwyth University. The talk will explore the history of the resorts of the Bristol Channel area between the years 1750 and 1914.

Professor Borsay, who has written extensively on the history and development of leisure and tourism, is currently involved in a project which takes in the resorts of Aberystwyth, Swansea and Tenby, and the talk will draw on research material used for this project.
